Whistleblowing

Mechitronic is committed to conducting business ethically, responsibly and in full compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.

The Group expects everyone who works with or for Mechitronic, including directors, managers, employees, contractors, members of corporate bodies and business partners, to act accordingly and in line with:

  • The Mechitronic Code of Ethics and related policies
  • Human rights principles
  • Diversity, equity and inclusion commitments
  • Applicable laws and regulations
  • Requirements and provisions issued by competent authorities
  • The Group’s governance and compliance framework, including Model 231 (where applicable) and internal procedures

WHAT TO REPORT

Mechitronic encourages employees, contractors and external stakeholders to report any conduct that may be improper, dishonest or unlawful, whether suspected, likely or already occurred. Reports may also concern behaviour that could harm people, the Group, its assets or its reputation, including:

  • Breaches of the Code of Ethics, internal policies or procedures
  • Fraud, corruption or conflicts of interest
  • Harassment, discrimination or human rights violations
  • Health, safety or environmental misconduct
  • Misuse of company assets, confidential information or intellectual property
  • Breaches of applicable laws, regulations or authority requirements

To support this, Mechitronic has established a whistleblowing process and dedicated reporting channels designed to ensure confidentiality and protect reporters against retaliation. Anonymous reports may be accepted where permitted by law, however named reports are encouraged to enable faster and more effective assessments.

HOW TO REPORT

Mechitronic provides secure reporting channels, including an external digital platform managed by an independent third party. Reports can be submitted in writing and, where available, through voice messaging systems.
