The UK-based automation specialist joins Mechitronic's global mechatronics platform, expanding capabilities in medical device, healthcare and pharma automation solutions
Mechitronic, a world-leading company specialising in advanced mechatronic solutions for the pharmaceutical, personal care and industrial sectors, is strengthening its growth strategy through the acquisition of Lambert, a British company that designs and builds highly customised automation solutions for complex product assembly processes, including web converting, specialist filling and dosing applications, serving the medical device, healthcare, personal care and consumer goods markets.
This acquisition marks a further step in the international growth path the Group has pursued in recent years through a targeted strategy of acquisitions and integration of specialist automation expertise. It follows the addition this year of Rotzinger PharmaPack in Germany, Apex Machine in the United States, RK Ferramentaria in Brazil and Colamark in China, further consolidating Mechitronic's presence in the markets with the greatest growth potential and in applications with the highest technological content.
