Mechitronic welcomes Rotzinger PharmaPack into its network of highly specialized companies, strengthening its footprint in Germany and deepening its expertise in pharmaceutical packaging.
Formerly part of the Rotzinger Group, Rotzinger PharmaPack is based in Waiblingen, near Stuttgart, and is recognized as a leading competence center for automation and packaging solutions for the pharmaceutical industry.
The acquisition represents a further strategic step in Mechitronic’s growth path and reinforces the Group’s position in the pharmaceutical packaging sector, a market in which automation, traceability and process quality have become increasingly critical.
Rotzinger PharmaPack offers a comprehensive portfolio of solutions for pharmaceutical manufacturers, ranging from stand-alone machines to complete integrated lines and turnkey systems. Its technologies include filling and capping machines, cartooning lines, as well as serialization and aggregation solutions designed to ensure full product traceability throughout the supply chain. The company also provides advanced digitalization tools supporting production monitoring, packaging process optimization and data management.
By integrating Rotzinger PharmaPack, Mechitronic significantly expands its technological expertise and strengthens its ability to support pharmaceutical customers with increasingly complete and highly specialized solutions. The addition of Rotzinger PharmaPack also enhances the Group’s presence in a strategic sector characterized by high regulatory standards and growing demand for efficiency, reliability and digital integration.
