MILAN, 21/01/2026 – MECH-I-TRONIC announces the acquisition of Colamark, a Guangzhou-based specialist in pharmaceutical packaging machines and industrial automation. The transaction strengthens MECH-I-TRONIC’s presence in Asia and expands its portfolio of high-performance pharma packaging solutions, including labeling, vision inspection and counting, and serialization and aggregation to support track & trace compliance.
With Colamark joining the Group, MECH-I-TRONIC accelerates its ability to deliver end-to-end, customer-specific solutions that combine precision engineering, advanced electronics. This integration reinforces the Group’s commitment to innovation, operational efficiency, and sustainable development, supporting global customers in the pharmaceutical and medical industries with increasingly integrated automation needs.
Colamark designs and builds pharmaceutical packaging machines and integrated solutions for pharma and healthcare manufacturers. The company brings strong expertise across key packaging and compliance modules, including:
- Labeling machines for containers and packs (vertical and horizontal configurations)
- Vision inspection systems and vision-based counting for quality control and line efficiency
- Serialization and aggregation solutions supporting track & trace compliance (Level 1–5)
- Integration-ready solutions with connectivity options aligned to Industry 4.0 / IoT requirements
Colamark is also known for advanced proprietary technologies, such as particle counting and inspection systems and ultra-high-precision, high-efficiency assembly solutions adopted by leading international industrial players.
By combining complementary strengths, MECH-I-TRONIC and Colamark will create immediate synergies in delivering complete pharmaceutical packaging lines, from core packaging modules to inspection, serialization and aggregation.
